This tramcar called "San Antonio-gou" named after San Antonio, Texas that is a sister city of Kumamoto. The sister-city affiliation was ratified in 1987 and it was named "San Antonio" in 1988.

In front of this stop, there is a little diner named after "tram stop" where we can eat Okonomiyaki that is Japanese-style pancake containing vegetables and other foodstuff.
This tramcar advertises local rice and called "JA-gou" as a term of endearment. "JA" means Japan Agricultural Cooperatives.
