Stop with the Japanese raccoon

This photo was taken at Senbabashi stop. Senbabashi is famous for as a locale of an old local folk song named "Antagata doko sa" which means "where are you from ?". Since a Japanese raccoon turns up in this song, there is a statue of raccoon by this stop.

Chikinramen-gou

This tramcar presents the noodle of Nissin Food Products CO.,LTD. called as a name of Chikinramen. For this reason, it is called "Chikinramen-gou" as a nickname.
Aside from this, 8201 has a pet name which is "Shirakawa-gou" named after the river runs through Kumamoto city. 8200 type was the brand-new tram for the first time in 22 years at that time.

This tram car presents the ad of Chinese noodle with chicken. Therefore, it called "Chicken-ramen-gou" within the meaning Chinese noodle with chicken.
Aside from this, 8201 has a nickname "Shirakawa-gou" named after the river in Kumamoto city.
